Lok Sabha | Hyderabad / Delhi, December 13: In a shocking security breach, two individuals infiltrated the Lok Sabha on December 13, 2023, releasing tear gas canisters and causing pandemonium. The intruders leaped from the gallery and were apprehended after disrupting proceedings and shouting slogans.

Leader of Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury confirmed the incident outside Parliament, stating that the individuals were detained by security personnel.

He expressed concern about the timing of the incident, coinciding with the 22nd anniversary of the deadly 2001 Parliament attack.

Congress MP Karti Chidambaram emphasized the potential danger posed by the tear gas, highlighting the unidentified yellow smoke emitted from the canisters.
