Drug Peddlers Will Be Punished Severely: CM Revanth Warning

Hyderabad, Dec 16 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has given a strong warning to the drug peddlers in the state and said that no one will be spared in the matter of drugs and they will be punished.

He alleged that under the BRS regime, the state has become a haven for ganja and drugs. I fought on the drug incident.  Our state has been made on the model of Punjab, which is caught in the grip of drugs.  The NAB set up in the previous government was limited to papers.  319 staff were not provided for drug prevention. Did not give Rs. 29 crores funds to NAB even when requested.  Our government is going with a strong plan to curb drugs.  No one will be neglected in the matter of drugs, we will punish them severely.

If drugs and ganja enter the borders of the state, we will not sit.  We will take this state forward in terms of welfare and development so that it can compete with the world.  We want the opposition to cooperate.  We are not rulers, but servants.  Revanth Reddy made it clear that we have come here to serve four and a half crore people.

The Chief Minister said that those who did not conduct the class 10 exams properly, those who failed to evaluate the answer sheets of inter exams properly, those who caused the suicide of 25 students, and those who sold the question papers because they could not take up job placements through TSPSC, they should hang their heads in shame and apologize to the people of Telangana.  KTR was disappointed that he wanted to get a position in the management quota.  KTR’s wishes remained unfulfilled because of the disappointment of not getting the post. KCR admitted in the same assembly that Telangana came because of Sonia Gandhi’s grace.

The Legislative Assembly approved the motion of thanks for the Governor’s speech.  Later, Speaker Prasad Kumar announced that the meeting would be adjourned to December 20 at 11.00 a.m.  (Maxim News)
