Hyderabad CP Hold Coordination Meeting On Hanuman Jayanthi

Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News): Hyderabad City Police Commissioner K.Sreenivasa Reddy held a coordination meeting with the organizers and the department officials including the Commissioner of Cyberabad and Rachakonda in connection with the upcoming Hanuman Jayanthi on April 23. 

Members of Telangana State Bajrang Dal, Hyderabad Bajrang Dal, Secunderabad Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Senior Officers from GHMC, R&B, Fire Services, Electricity, EMRI, TSRTC, HMWSSB, Transport department and Health and Medical departments have participated in the meeting. Welcoming the participants Sreenivasa Reddy, requested all to ensure a peaceful festival and rally for which coordination and cooperation of all wings is essential.

 Some of the points mentioned included regarding the early starting timing of the processions, avoiding use of DJ systems, no bursting of firecrackers, no throwing of vermillion or gulal on the passers-by, no carrying of sticks/swords/firearms, no provocative slogans, speeches, songs, displaying provocative banners, use of limited number of vehicles and no disturbance to people from other communities. Use of Drone Cameras is not permitted without prior permission of the Police Department.

Hyderabad City takes pride in being a truly multicultural city and we have to ensure that peace and tranquility continues to be maintained without giving scope to anybody pointing out any bias towards any community. He further requested all not to indulge in rumours, spreading provocative posts, fake messages, etc on social media.

Since this is election time the organizers should not violate the conditions of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and give any scope to find fault in the conduct of the event. No Political symbols or Political speeches will be permitted during the Hanuman Jayanthi.

Later CP Hyderabad along with other department officials and the organizers inspected the nearly 12.2 KM route of the main procession. CP requested all the departments to expedite the pending works. A Joint Control Room will be set up at ICCC, Banjarahills from 8 AM on 23.04.2024 wherein officials of various departments will be available to attend to any problem.

Vikram Singh Mann,  Addl. CP, L&O,  N. Ravi Kiran, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, and DCP, Senior officers of TSSPDCL, R&B, Medical, Water works, Fire services, RTA and the program organizers  U. Shivaramulu, Bala Swamy, Pandari Nath, Mahesh and Srikant attended the coordination meeting and route inspection. (Maxim News)
