Apprehended 3 Accused Who Kidnapped Boy For Rs. 15 Lakhs Ransom

Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News): According to Credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force East Zone Team along with Markook Police of Siddipet Commissionerate jointly rescued one Boy from the Clutches of kidnappers namely. 1) Chandan Kumar 2) Anup Chowdhari and 3) Meghnath Karmakar 

The accused 1)Chandan Kumar Age: 18 yrs, N/o Jharkand., Anup Chowdhari age: 21 Yrs N/o Bihar. and Meghnath Karmakar  Age: 18 yrs, N/o Assam.

Facts of the case are that on 19-04-2024 one Boy by the name of Tovid Alam S/o Tabrez Alam 07 years old R/o Karkapatla, Markook, Siddipet Dist.N/o: Bihar was going to school with his friends while he was on the way to school two unknown Persons Came to him and abducted Boy by Saying  *I will buy chocolates and Slippers to you. The parents of the Boy noticed that the boy had not returned home from school and made an inquiry with his schoolmates who were accompanying the boy and came to know that the boy was abducted. On the complaint of Tabrej Alam who is the father of Boy a case in Cr.No 46/2024. u/s 363 IPC at Markook PS was registered and investigated.

While the investigation was under process the complainant received a call from kidnappers who demanded Rs 15 Lakhs as Ransom and threatened the complainant that they would harm the Boy if 15 lakhs were not given to them and also told him to keep cash ready and wait for further directions.

Acting on the tip-off the Commissioner’s Task Force East Zone Team along with Markook Police nabbed kidnappers at Secunderabad Railway Reservation Complex and rescued Boy Tovid Alam from their Clutches. On inquiry the accused were identified as Chandan Kumar, Anup Chowdhari, and Meghnath who are natives of Jharkhand, Bihar, and Assam and are working in a small-scale industry at Karkapatla their earnings are not meeting their lavish expenditures so they hatched a plan to kidnap the Boy and Extort huge money. Accordingly, they collectively moved to Karkapatla Kidnapped 07 yrs old boy, and sped away. The Rescued Boy and apprehended accused persons were handed over to Markook Police for taking further action.

The above arrests were made under the supervision of  Ande Srinivasa Rao Addl. Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner Taskforce along with A.Nagarjuna, Inspector of Police, East Zone Taskforce and Sis S/Sri P.Nagaraju, M.Anantha Chary, S.Karunakar Reddy along with East Zone Taskforce Team and Markook Police.
