Minister Warned Strict Action On Those Who Attacked Adivasi Woman

Kolhapur/Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News): Minister for Excise and Tourism Jupalli Krishna Rao has warned the accused who brutally attacked an Adivasi family in Kolhapur Taluka of Nagarkurnool district.

The Minister visited the victim woman who was undergoing treatment at Nagar Kurnool district hospital. Doctors were instructed to provide better treatment. The victim and her husband were asked about the incident.

Eswaramma, a tribal woman, was detained in Mola Chinthalapally. She was tortured for ten days. We will punish the accused according to law. We will take all kinds of measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. It is sad that such barbaric acts are happening. Apart from financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to the affected family, some land will be provided by the government for farming. We will take steps to provide education to their children under the government, said Jupalli Krishna Rao.  (Maxim News)
