Indian Cricket Players Met PM Modi And Presented Him With The T-20 World Cup Trophy

Delhi/Hyderabad, July 4 (Maxim News): Indian Cricket Players, Team India, which returned to India from Barbados met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The players who cut the cake at ITC Maurya went directly to the Prime Minister’s residence and met Modi there. They presented the trophy they won (T20 World Cup Trophy) to the Prime Minister and took pictures.

Indian Cricket Players Met PM Modi

PM Modi warmly greeted all the players. Congratulations to everyone for winning the World Cup.  PM Modi asked each and everyone, how was the journey in this tournament. What were the challenges faced? What was the effort to win the trophy?  Everyone chatted for a while.

First, PM Modi spoke to the head coach Rahul Dravid, and captain Rohit Sharma. On this occasion, the two explained about the exercises done by the players in winning the trophy. Especially, Virat Kohli played a key innings and also talked about Surya’s prestigious catch and because Hardik showed a wonderful performance in this tournament like a falling wave, he shared those experiences with Modi. All the other players shared their experiences and feelings with the Prime Minister. T-20 World Cup Trophy

Meanwhile, the Indian team won the ICC trophy after almost 11 years of waiting.  India won the Champions Trophy in 2013 under the leadership of MS Dhoni for the last time.  After all these years, India won the T20 World Cup.  It took 17 years to win the T20 World Cup alone.  That is why in India the celebrations are called Ambaram.  The Indian players received an unprecedented welcome.  Virat Kohli’s fans welcomed him as the World Cup winner.  While arriving at the airport, Kohli Kohli shouted at the airport.  Kohli got this unprecedented welcome because of his brilliant innings in the final.  (Maxim News)
