Hyderabad to Welcome ‘Rupavathi Elephant’ for Bonalu and Muharram

Hyderabad, July 11 (Maxim News): Great news for Bonalu and Muharram celebrations in Hyderabad. Forest officials in Karnataka have agreed to send an elephant named ‘Rupavathi‘ to participate in the processions.

This positive outcome follows dedicated efforts by Telangana’s Forest, Environment, and Endowments Minister, Konda Surekha. Rupavathi, from the Panchacharya Mandira Trust in Davanagere, Karnataka, will be part of both the Bonalu festival’s Ammavari Ambari procession and the Bibi ka Alam procession during Muharram in Hyderabad.
