Jurala And Tungabhadra Projects Have Become Full 

Hyderabad, July 21 (Maxim News): The states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka are receiving rains. A heavy flood is flowing downstream. due to this, the Jurala and Tungabhadra projects became full.

Heavy flood is reaching Jurala from Narayanpur which is above. As a result, the Krishna River runs from Jurala towards the Srisailam reservoir. The Jurala Project has lifted 16 gates. Inflow is 82 thousand cusecs while outflow is 73 thousand cusecs.

The full water capacity is 318.516 meters while the current water capacity is 317.160 meters

435 megawatts of electricity have been generated in 11 units in the upper and lower Jurala hydropower stations. On the other hand, officials say the gates of Tungabhadra Dam are also likely to be lifted at any moment due to the increase in flood flow. In this context, the people of the river catchment areas are advised to be alert. (Maxim News)
