SC Put Brake On The Bulldozers Till Oct. 1

Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 17 (Maxim News): The Supreme Court has put a brake on the process of demolishing illegal structures with bulldozers. The court ordered that such actions be stopped by October 1st. Those actions should be stopped until the arguments on the use of bulldozers are taken up again.

The court stated that if the demolitions are stopped till the next trial, the sky will not blow. A bench comprising justices BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan is hearing the case. It is known that recently the Supreme Court has expressed its anger several times by condemning the demolition of illegal buildings with bulldozers. The Supreme Court also erred in portraying this approach as grandiose. A warning was also given to the Election Commission. The court said that its verdict would not apply to encroachments on roads, railway tracks, and ponds.  (Maxim News)
