Light Showers Cool Hyderabad | Hyderabad, August 24: Hyderabad experienced light showers today, bringing a brief relief from the heat. Northern parts of the city saw rainfall lasting around ten minutes.

Areas like Nizampet, Bachupalli, Jeedimetla, Kukatpally, Alwal, Suchitra, and RC Puram reported drizzles. However, traffic remained smooth, and there were no major disruptions.

According to weather experts, these light rains will last only a few minutes. The sky may turn cloudy again, but the chance of heavy rain is low.

Those stepping out are advised to carry a small umbrella or a raincoat. Temporary showers are also expected in Warangal, Jangaon, Medak, and Mancherial within two hours.

Although farmers welcome these rains, experts say they will not significantly improve crop growth. The showers only keep soil moist temporarily.

The local meteorological department warned of winds blowing at 30 to 40 km/h. Motorists, especially bikers, should be cautious on slippery roads.
