TGPSC Group-2 | Hyderabad, Sept. 26: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) is preparing to announce the much-awaited Group-2 final results soon.
The commission is making arrangements to release the results after the Dussehra festival, bringing relief to thousands of aspirants who have been waiting since last year’s written examination.
According to officials, the administrative process has reached its final stage. The commission expects to complete the selection process in the next four to five days. Once the process is finalized, appointment letters for the selected candidates will be issued.
TGPSC Group-2 Recruitment Process Nears Completion
The recruitment drive for Group-2 services includes 783 posts, as per the notification issued in 2022. The written examination was conducted in December 2024, and the general rank list was published on March 11, 2025.
Since then, TGPSC has completed multiple stages of the selection process. This includes verification of candidates’ certificates, which was required to confirm eligibility. For uniformed service posts, medical reports of qualified candidates have also been received.
Officials confirmed that the final merit list will be prepared after considering educational qualifications, candidate preferences, reservation policies, and merit scores. The commission has stated that every step has been taken to ensure a transparent and fair recruitment process.
TGPSC Group-2 Results Expected After Festival Season
If everything proceeds according to plan, the entire Group-2 recruitment process will be completed within a year of the written examination. This would mark one of the quicker timelines in recent years for competitive exams in the state.
For aspirants, the announcement of results after the festival season comes as a positive development, ending months of speculation. The final results are expected to bring clarity and pave the way for appointments across various government departments in Telangana.
