ACB Seized Unaccounted Cash At Zaheerabad RTA Check Post

Sangareddy/Hyderabad, Oct 19 (Maxim News) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted a raid at the inter-State Regional Transport Authority (RTA) check post at Madgi in Zaheerabad mandal early on Sunday and seized Rs 43,300 in unaccounted cash from the staff.

Acting on a tip-off that the staff were illegally collecting bribes from vehicles plying between Karnataka and Telangana, a team led by Medak Range DSP Anand Kumar raided the check post and recovered the cash from the staff.

An investigation is underway. The ACB is expected to issue a detailed statement on the raid later today.(Maxim News)
