Minority Day: Azharuddin to Join Celebration at Ravindra Bharati
Minority Day | Hyderabad, Nov. 8 (Maxim News): B. Shafiullah, Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department and Secretary, TGMREIS, courtesy called on Minister for Minorities Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin here today.
Telangana Urdu Academy Chairman Taher Bin Hamdan, also met and greeted the Minister and invited him to attend the Minority Day Celebration scheduled for November 11, 2025, at Ravindra Bharati.
The delegation discussed the arrangements for the upcoming event, which aims to highlight welfare initiatives for minority communities in Telangana.
Director of Telangana State Urdu Academy (TSUA) Dr. Md. Safiuallah, Assistant Director Krishna, Superintendent Attaullah Khan, and other officials were also present during the meeting.
Officials said the purpose of the meeting was to coordinate the program and ensure smooth conduct at Ravindra Bharati.
Minority Day
They noted that the celebration date is November 11, 2025, and the venue is the state cultural center.
They also discussed participation by departments linked to Minorities Welfare. The meeting underlined the need for clear roles and timely execution.
Meanwhile, the discussion covered cultural programming, recognition segments, and logistics.
The event will include cultural programs and recognition of services in education, art, and community welfare.
The team emphasized the theme of community contributions and service. They also aligned the Urdu Academy’s role with the program flow.
