Hyderabad: A married man named Jadi Sammaiah was beaten to death in Lalaiahgudam village of Mulugu mandal due to an alleged illicit relationship with a minor girl. Sammaiah was 40 years old and worked as an electrician at Eturnagaram in the district. He had two children. Locals said he struggled with alcohol addiction.

Conflicts had arisen in his family over his relationship with a 16-year-old girl from Lalaiahgudem. Sammaiah reportedly told his grandparents several times that he intended to marry the girl. The situation escalated after his father filed a police complaint two days prior, highlighting family clashes.

On Sunday night, Sammaiah visited the girl’s village. However, family members of the girl caught him, tied him to an electric pole, and violently beat him. Villagers reported that he died around midnight. Police officials reached the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
