Israel launched airstrikes on Hamas targets in Gaza, killing dozens and triggering a new wave of tension in the Middle East. The Israeli air force targeted positions linked to the Hamas militant group. According to the Israeli government, the strikes killed twenty four Palestinians, including children. Officials also said five senior Hamas members died in the attack. The fresh escalation has increased fear of renewed conflict in the region.

Meanwhile, Hamas issued a clear warning. It said that continued Israeli attacks would lead to a full scale war. The group claimed that Israel’s actions during a ceasefire period could trigger larger confrontation. Observers noted that both sides have accused each other of violating the agreement.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas came into effect on October 10, 2025. The agreement is being implemented in phases. However, the Israeli Defense Forces said Hamas militants violated the ceasefire at least eight times between November 13 and 21. They cited those incidents as the reason for the latest airstrikes. The situation remains tense, with fears that further violations could push both sides toward wider conflict.

Later reports said the Israeli army continued to review the security situation in Gaza. Israeli officials stressed that the latest action was taken in self defense. Hamas, however, argued that the attacks undermine the ongoing ceasefire. The conflicting claims added to uncertainty about the stability of the agreement.
