Officials said the victims were identified as Srinivas, his wife Vijayalakshmi, and their daughter Sravya. They were found hanging from a ceiling fan. Locals informed the police after noticing a foul smell coming from the house. Police then reached the location and began their investigation. They also noted that the bodies were in a state of decomposition, which suggests the deaths may have occurred two days earlier.

The tragedy follows another incident in the same family. Police said the couple’s elder daughter, who lived in Ramnagar, had died by suicide a few days ago. After her death, the family moved to Ramakrishna Nagar and began living in a rented house. The sequence of events has deepened shock among the community and raised questions about the mental state of the parents in the days before the suicide.

Investigators suspect that the suicide may have been linked to superstitions, though they have not confirmed any motive. Officials said they are continuing their inquiry and will gather statements from neighbours and relatives. The shocking discovery has unsettled the locality, with residents expressing grief and alarm over the loss of an entire family within their neighbourhood.

Police said more details will emerge as the investigation progresses. The case has again highlighted the need for awareness and support for families facing emotional distress. However, officials have not provided further information on the circumstances that led to the tragedy.
