It is known that the high Court recently issued a sensational verdict cancelling the 215.16 Group 2. The selection list of that year was quashed. The High Court Division bench verdict stated that the re-evaluation of Part-B documents with double bubbling, use of whitener, and erasures contrary to the recommendations of the Technical Committee was invalid.  The High Court verdict concluded that the Telangana Public Service Commission does not have the authority to act contrary to the recommendations of the Technical Committee.

It concluded that the Commission failed to set aside the answer sheets when it was clear that they had been tampered with.  It annulled the results given on October 24, 2019, saying they were arbitrary and illegal.  It directed the Public Service Commission to conduct a re-evaluation in accordance with the recommendations of the technical committee and the High Court verdict, release the list of eligible candidates and make appointments, and to complete this process within 8 weeks.  (Maxim News)
