Two Drug Peddlers Arrested In Attapur, MDMA Worth Rs. 1 Lakh Seized

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Task Force arrested two drug peddlers and seized narcotic substances worth Rs 1 lakh in Attapur on Friday.

The accused were found in possession of 8 grams of MDMA and 0.8 grams of OG, which they allegedly intended to sell to customers in the city.

The arrested persons were identified as Anwar Hussain (33), an IT recruiter, and Burra Sampath (31), a car driver. Police said the duo procured the drugs from a Bengaluru-based supplier, Charan, who is currently absconding.

The accused allegedly transferred Rs 38,000 online to procure the contraband.

Based on credible information, the Task Force nabbed the duo and handed over to the Attapur police for further action. (Maxim News)
