Devotees Flock To Basara: Bejawada Durgamma In The Form Of Saraswati

Nirmal/Hyderabad, Jan 23 (Maxim News) Devotees thronged the Gyan Saraswati Devi temple in Basara on Friday in the backdrop of Vasant Panchami. On Thursday at 1 am, temple scholars performed Mangala Vaidya and Suprabhata services for the goddess. The temple priests performed Abhishek pujas for the three goddesses. Later, the Aksharabhyasas began at 3.00 am. The queue lines set up for the darshan of the goddess and the Aksharabhyasam mandalas were packed with devotees. It takes three hours to have darshan of the goddess in the temple and two hours for the Aksharabhyasas pooja.

On the other hand, the Vasant Panchami festivals in Basara began on Wednesday. These will end today.. that is, on Friday. Devotees have been flocking to the Basara temple since the beginning of the festivals. However, during Vasant Panchami.. devotees are flocking in large numbers from various parts of the Telugu states. So that the devotees do not face any trouble.. the temple authorities have made special arrangements.

On the other hand, devotees have flocked to the Sri Saraswati temple in Wargal near Siddipet. The queues in the temple were filled with devotees since early morning today. Meanwhile, at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple located on Indrakiladri in Vijayawada, Goddess Durga is giving darshan to devotees today in the form of Goddess Saraswati, the mother of education.

School students will be provided free darshan from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm. Moreover, since today is also Friday, a large number of devotees will come for Durgamma darshan. The temple authorities have made special arrangements for this. (Maxim News)
