Siddipet, July 30: A 30-year-old man was killed after an unidentified vehicle allegedly rammed his car from behind on Rajiv Rahadari near Bejjanki Cross Road in Siddipet district during the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Jella Shekar, a resident of Regulapally village in Bejjanki mandal.
According to police, Shekar was returning to Regulapally from Siddipet when the accident occurred near Bejjanki Cross Road.
The impact of the collision caused severe injuries, and Shekar died on the spot.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the unidentified vehicle involved in the hit and run accident.
Shekar is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.
