Hyderabad, Feb. 26: A massive fire broke out at the Mangala Gauri showroom in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The incident happened on Road No. 36 and caused panic in the area.
The fire started suddenly in the morning. At first, sparks flew from a temporary temple set placed in front of the showroom. Soon after, flames spread quickly. Within minutes, thick smoke covered the entire area.
As the fire grew stronger, it began spreading to nearby buildings. Therefore, locals immediately alerted the fire department. In response, fire officials rushed to the spot without delay. They started firefighting operations at once.
Meanwhile, police stopped vehicles on the road to avoid accidents. Traffic slowed down as a safety measure. In addition, officers cleared the area to keep people away from danger.
According to initial information, a short circuit may have caused the fire. When staff opened the showroom in the morning, sparks from the electrical setup likely ignited the temple structure. As a result, the temple set caught fire first. Later, the flames entered the showroom.
Inside the store, the fire burned clothes and other materials. Consequently, dense smoke filled the building. However, all staff members managed to come out safely. Police confirmed that no one remained inside.
At present, firefighters continue efforts to fully control the blaze. Officials will conduct a detailed investigation after the situation stabilizes.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far. However, the property damage appears to be significant.
Authorities will release more details soon.
