Terrorist Infiltration Threat Linked to Pakistan Afghanistan Conflict

These groups became weaker after Operation Sindoor, during which they lost both men and infrastructure. However, they now hope that growing tensions in the region may weaken the Indian security system. Intelligence officials said these organizations may attempt to exploit the current instability.

An official explained that although Pakistan is currently engaged in a battle with Afghanistan, several elements close to the ISI remain active. Many of them are affiliated with Jaish e Mohammad. Therefore, Indian agencies are closely monitoring these individuals.

High Alert at Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab Borders

Security agencies have also warned that the threat is not limited to Jammu and Kashmir. The Punjab border is also considered highly volatile. Officials said Khalistani elements have increased their operations in the region.

The Pakistan establishment has also faced pressure due to attacks by the Balochistan Liberation Army and Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan. These issues have embarrassed the establishment. Some observers believe this situation may push Pakistan to distract attention through actions against India.

Meanwhile, officials emphasized that Indian security forces remain prepared. Borders are on very high alert and agencies continue close surveillance. The Jammu and Kashmir Police are also monitoring the overground worker network. Authorities believe these networks may try to revive terror modules inside the region.
