- JNTU Hyderabad freezes TG EAPCET 2026 test zones in Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad and Nizamabad
- TG EAPCET 2026 registrations rise as authorities cite capacity limits at exam centres
Hyderabad: TG EAPCET 2026 test zones have been frozen in five districts after authorities received applications beyond the capacity of available centres. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, which is conducting the Telangana Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test, announced the decision as registrations continued to increase.
Officials confirmed that the TG EAPCET 2026 test zones in Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad and Nizamabad will no longer appear during fresh registration. The university said the decision was necessary because the number of applicants from these districts exceeded the capacity of exam centres.
TG EAPCET 2026 Test Zones Frozen After High Applications
The university clarified that the zones were frozen after receiving more applications than available slots. Dr Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Convener TG EAPCET 2026, explained the reason behind the move.
“Since these zones have received more applications than the capacity, they have been frozen. These zones will not reflect during the fresh registration,” said Dr. Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Convener TG EAPCET 2026.
Meanwhile, candidates registering for the examination must select test zones according to their preference while filling the application form. Authorities then allot test centres based on the candidates’ preferences and the availability of slots in each zone.
