Shabbir Ali noted that medical emergencies come without warning. As a result, families often struggle to arrange funds quickly. According to him, the foundation was created to address this gap. He said doctors and hospitals linked to the initiative had agreed to contribute and work together so that deserving patients receive assistance from the foundation’s funds. He added that the aim was to ensure life saving treatment does not get delayed due to lack of money.

He also pointed out that many families have been slow to adopt systems such as health insurance. Because of this, financial problems often arise during sudden illnesses. He said the Peace Foundation seeks to ensure that patients who cannot afford expensive treatment in large corporate hospitals can still receive quality care at lower costs.

They said the Peace Foundation was established to provide immediate financial assistance to patients who cannot arrange funds during emergencies. According to them, some conditions, particularly neurological disorders, require long treatment and hospitalisation. This places a heavy financial burden on families.

The doctors added that patients without insurance often lose valuable time before treatment begins because hospitals require advance deposits. Therefore, they said the foundation aims to ensure that deserving patients receive timely treatment without delay.
