Patancheru MLA Distributes Ramadan Gifts To 3,500 Muslims

Hyderabad: Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy distributed Ramadan gifts to around 3,500 poor Muslims across the Patancheru constituency on Sunday. The programme took place during separate events organised at different mosques in the constituency.
The Patancheru MLA greeted members of the Muslim community during the visits. Meanwhile, he personally handed over the gifts to beneficiaries as part of the Ramadan celebrations. The initiative aimed to support poor Muslims and help them observe the festival with ease.
During the programmes, Mahipal Reddy interacted with local residents and extended greetings for the holy month of Ramadan. The distribution covered several mosques across the constituency. As a result, about 3,500 beneficiaries received the Ramadan gifts during the events.
Ramadan gifts distributed to poor Muslims in Patancheru
Speaking at the programmes, Mahipal Reddy referred to the policies followed by the BRS government. He said the government had given priority to the development of Muslims in Telangana.
Mahipal Reddy said the focus on Muslim welfare increased after K Chandrashekhar Rao became the first Chief Minister of Telangana. According to him, the government initiated several measures aimed at supporting the community.
He also mentioned the Ramzan ‘tohfa’ programme. The scheme involves distributing Ramzan gifts to poor Muslims at government expense. He said the programme helped families celebrate the festival in a dignified manner.
Mahipal Reddy highlights welfare focus during Ramadan
Mahipal Reddy said he was continuing the same approach in his constituency. He explained that the aim of the programme was to ensure that poor Muslims could celebrate Ramadan in a grand manner.
The Patancheru MLA also spoke about welfare initiatives taken up in the constituency. He stated that he had given utmost priority to the welfare of Muslims living in the area.
Meanwhile, several local leaders attended the programmes. BRS leaders Mettu Kumar Yadav and Vijay Kumar were present during the distribution events. They joined the MLA in greeting members of the Muslim community at the mosques.
The events concluded after the distribution of gifts to beneficiaries across different locations in Patancheru. Community members participated in the programmes and received the Ramadan gifts distributed by the MLA.
