TPCC Chief Mahesh Goud Begins District Tours In Telangana
Hyderabad, March 22: Mahesh Kumar Goud began statewide visits to strengthen the Congress organisation. The Mahesh Goud district tours aim to improve coordination after the new District Congress Committee lists. Party leaders said the outreach signals preparations for future elections.
Goud said the tours will focus on strengthening the party at the grassroots. He said leaders will coordinate from village units to district offices. Moreover, he stressed the need to energise cadre and review local political conditions.
He also said the programme will assess welfare delivery. According to him, the government wants schemes to reach eligible beneficiaries. In addition, he said the party will prepare strategies to counter opposition criticism.
Mahesh Goud district tours focus on organisation and political strategy
During a review meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud spoke about law enforcement efforts against narcotics. He said the government is committed to making the state drug free. He added that enforcement actions are showing results.
The TPCC chief also made allegations involving leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. He claimed some leaders were linked to recent controversies. However, he did not present detailed evidence during the meeting. Meanwhile, the party has not issued an official response to the claims.
Goud also alleged political coordination between the Bharatiya Janata Party and BRS. He questioned the BJP silence on issues raised against BRS leaders. He claimed this indicated political understanding between the parties. Both parties have not publicly responded to the remarks.
The TPCC chief also criticised BJP claims on Backward Classes representation. He referred to leaders such as Bandaru Dattatreya, G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar. He argued that internal leadership changes raised questions. BJP leaders have previously stated their commitment to BC welfare.
The Mahesh Goud district tours will continue across Telangana in the coming weeks. Party leaders said the programme will include meetings with workers and local leaders. Further political reactions are expected as the visits continue.
