Youth Stabbed To Death Following Drunken Altercation In Secunderabad

Hyderabad, June 1: A young man was allegedly murdered following a late-night altercation in the limits of the Marredpally Police Station area of Secunderabad, creating concern among local residents.

The deceased has been identified as Shravan. According to police, the incident occurred during the early hours of Monday after a group of friends had been consuming alcohol together.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Shravan and his friends were drinking on Sunday night when an argument broke out after midnight. The dispute reportedly escalated into a physical confrontation.

During the altercation, one of the youths, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, attacked Shravan with a knife.

Police said Shravan sustained severe injuries in the attack and died at the scene before medical assistance could save him.
