CM Revanth Accuses Union Minister of Stalling Hyderabad Metro Expansion

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accused Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy of obstructing the Centre’s approval for the expansion of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project and other key infrastructure initiatives in the state.

Addressing a public meeting in Uppal after laying the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 1,511 crore, Revanth Reddy alleged that the Union Coal and Mines Minister was creating hurdles in securing approvals for major Telangana projects. He also claimed that Kishan Reddy was indirectly supporting the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) while remaining a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
