Hyderabad, August 28: The lucky draw to select beneficiaries for flats in Indiramma Housing towers will begin in four Hyderabad Assembly constituencies on Friday.
The beneficiary selection process will be conducted from August 28 to 31. Draws will be held in four constituencies each day, covering all 16 constituencies in the city.
The flats are being developed under the Hyderabad housing initiative known as CURE. The government has fixed a beneficiary contribution of ₹6 lakh for each flat.
Indiramma Housing Lucky Draw to Select Flat Beneficiaries
Under the scheme, the government will provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh for each flat. The beneficiary contribution of ₹6 lakh has to be paid in four instalments.
The first instalment of ₹1 lakh will have to be paid after provisional allotment. One family will be eligible to receive only one flat under the scheme.
On Friday, the lucky draw will be conducted simultaneously at four locations.
The draw for the Qutbullapur Assembly constituency will be held at Gandi Maisamma Function Hall. Beneficiaries from the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency will participate in the draw at Mallareddy Gardens.
The Rajendranagar constituency draw will take place at Podupu Sangam Hall. Meanwhile, the Nampally constituency draw will be held at Vets Garden.
The authorities have also made arrangements for people to follow the beneficiary selection process online. The draws are being streamed live through links provided on the Telangana Housing Board website and its official social media accounts.
In addition, screens have been installed near the draw centres so that residents can watch the proceedings.
The four-day process is aimed at ensuring a transparent selection of beneficiaries for flats in the Indiramma Housing towers. The remaining constituencies will conduct their draws on the subsequent days according to the schedule.
