Revanth Reddy Accuses KTR Of Injustice To Kavitha

Hyderabad, Sept 6: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy accused BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao of treating his sister K. Kavitha unfairly.

Responding to KTR’s reported remarks about his education, Revanth Reddy said educational qualifications were not the only measure of a person.

He said he had “decency and culture” and claimed a person without these qualities would remain confined to a farmhouse.

Revanth Reddy made the remarks while addressing a protest programme at Dharna Chowk.

He recalled inviting Ministers Seethakka and Konda Surekha to his residence to tie Rakhi on him. He described the gesture as a mark of respect for women.

Revanth Reddy Challenges KTR to Debate in Assembly

The Chief Minister questioned KTR’s remarks on culture and education. He also accused KTR of mistreating Kavitha over alleged property related issues.

Revanth Reddy challenged KTR to attend the Assembly and debate issues with him. He said KTR’s conduct and qualifications could then be assessed.

The Chief Minister also accused the previous BRS government of looting Telangana. He compared its leaders to a gang of bandits.

Revanth Reddy questioned whether KTR could protect the interests of women in Telangana if he could not care for his sister.

He also alleged that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao did not reprimand KTR over the issue. Instead, he claimed KCR remained at his farmhouse.

The remarks come amid continuing political exchanges between the Congress and BRS leadership in Telangana.
