Woman Protests Outside Telangana Assembly Over Police Harassment

Hyderabad, Sept. 9: A woman from Suryapet staged a protest outside the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, alleging police harassment.

The protest caused a brief commotion near the Assembly premises. The woman claimed police were stopping lorries carrying bricks from entering the city.

She alleged that police were also preventing the lorries from parking and selling their loads. She said the restrictions were causing difficulties for brick suppliers.
