BRS Members Walk Out Of Telangana Legislative Council

Hyderabad, Sept. 10: BRS members walked out of the Telangana Legislative Council on Thursday after the Chairman rejected their adjournment motion.

The BRS members sought an immediate discussion on issues related to 22A prohibited lands.

The Chairman rejected the proposal, following which the BRS members left the House in protest.

BRS Legislative Council Opposition Leader Sirikonda Madhusudanachari criticised the conduct of marshals in the Council.

He alleged that marshals were violating the dignity of elected members during proceedings.

Madhusudanachari also accused the ruling Congress of using suspensions and denying microphones to suppress the BRS voice.

Meanwhile, BRS MLC Shambhipur Raju staged a protest while MLC Chintapandu Naveen, popularly known as Teenmar Mallanna, was speaking.

Raju reportedly displayed a paper from his pocket raising allegations over Amruth tenders and Raviryala lands.

Council staff later switched off the camera, after which the video circulated on social media.

Meanwhile, suspended BRS working president K T Rama Rao and other BRS MLAs visited Fourth City.

They said they wanted to highlight alleged irregularities involving Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s brother Konda Reddy.
