Telangana Achieved On Abmedkar Ideals: KTR

Hyderabad, April 14 (Maxim News): Dr B R Ambedkar belongs to all people and statehood was achieved on his ideals of smaller States, according to TRS Working President KT Rama Rao. He paid floral tributes to Ambedkar to mark his 128th birth anniversary at a program in Telangana Bhavan attended by Home Minister Mahamood Ali, Minister K Eshwar and other leaders of the party.

Speaking on the occasion, the former minister said TRS Supremo KCR achieved Telangana State based on the idea of Dr Ambedkar. Had Ambedkar not thought of smaller States, Telangana would not have got the statehood. KCR has followed the path shown by the architect of Indian Constitution and achieved statehood for Telangana, he asserted.

Referring to damage of Ambedkar statue near Punjagutta, KTR said the State government will take serious action against those responsible. Mahamood Ali said KCR was striving for welfare of the downtrodden as per the ideals of Ambedkar. Telangana was the only State to introduce several welfare schemes being followed by other States, he claimed. (Maxim News)
