Rahul Gandhi Alone Capable Of Steering Party: Kuntia
Hyderabad, June 24 (Maxim News): AICC State in-charge RC Kuntia on Monday said Rahul Gandhi should continue as party president. He said Rahul had already proved his mettle as a tough fighter in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing mediapersons here today, Kuntia demanded that the TRS government provide 34 percent reservations to BC community in the State. He said the party State executive committee meeting would be held at Nagarjuna Sagar on June 29. He said they had formed a committee under the leadership of TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar to prepare a strategy for upcoming municipal elections. He also said the party would hold meetings at mandal level on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of every month. Kuntia said they would hold MPTC and ZPTC meetings in the first week of July to strengthen the party by bringing reports from the ground level. He also called upon party workers to strive for strengthening the party.
Commenting on the issue of continuation of party MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy as PCC president, he said Uttam would continue in the post. Reacting to the remarks of party MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal reddy, Kuntia said the party would take action against him as the party high command would not tolerate anybody, who crosses the party line.
