Valmiki Foundation Celebrates Annual Function

Hyderabad, June 24 (Maxim News): Valmiki Foundation celebrated its 12th Annual Function in Our Sacred Space, Dharur on June 23. Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS, was the chief guest. Dr Partha Sarath, State BJP vice-president, was the special guest. PDG. Rtn. Suresh-Rotary Club of Secunderabad, Rtn KP Sarathy- President of Rotary Club of Secunderabad. and Anasuya Bharadwaj-Indian Television Actress were invited as Guest of Honors.

Valmiki Foundation has donated 30 sewing machines to the women of Farmer Families of Vikarabad District. These women have been attending Workshops on Embroidery and stitching organised by Our Sacred Space, Dharur- Telangana World Heritage Centre in collaboration with Kisan Mithra. These sewing machines are going to help them make a livelihood.

Manisha (name changed), who lost her parents and living with her sister and grandmother, was given a cycle by the Foundation. Similarly, three cycles were donated to the most needy families who live in remote villages of Vikarabad. Besides, 200 school bags, 300 books, stationary items and 20 cricket kits were distributed to the children of Dharur Mandel. All the localities were invited from Vikarabad District. The guests enjoyed bullock cart rides, women were seen stitching and embroidering with cloth and kids were playing cricket at the event. (Maxim News)
