Lord Malayappa Rides Suryaprabha Vahanam
Tirumala, Oct.6 (Maxim News): Sri Malayappa Swamy, who shines bright as Sri Suryanarayana Murthy on Surya Prabha Vahanam, took the celestial form of Badarinayana in Yoga Mundra on the carrier on the bright sunny day on Sunday.
On the seventh day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala, Lord Malayappa Swamy blessed His devotees on the well-decked dazzling Surya Prabha Vahanam. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Srimannarayana lies in the midst of Surya Mandalam, which is the Sun’s sphere in the cosmos. Wearing a diamond gauntlet, seated majestically atop Suryaprabha Vahanam drawn by seven horses, Sri Malayappa Swamy took a celestial ride along the four mada streets.
To match the occasion, the Lord was decorated with a huge garland made of red ixora flowers which enhanced the beauty of Lord. Devotees were mused by the charm of Lord on Surya Prabha Vahanam. (Maxim News)
