Suspend Jogulamba Gadwal Dstrict Collector For Causing Death Of Woman: Sampath

Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): AICC secretary SA Sampath Kumar said state government to suspend Gadwal District collector Shruthi Ojha for causing death of pregnant woman. He alleged that the collector had failed to save the life of the pregnant woman Jameela by acting in a negligent manner.

He alleged that the district collector had shrugged off his hands after shifting Jameela to Mahabubnagar district hospital without issuing orders to the doctors of the hospital to extend treatment to the patient. He said that the mother and her child would have been saved had the collector responded in a swift manner .

In a statement Kumar said that such incidents were being reported due to lack of coordination between public representatives and officials of the district. He demanded the state government to come to the rescue of the victim’s family. Raising the issue of corona virus, Kumar also alleged that the collector had failed to contain the spread of deadly corona virus in the district and added that she was responsible for turning of the entire district into a red zone. He alleged that the collector never responded swiftly on the issue of the concerns raised by the mugonipally village of aija mandal due to the presence of corona positive patients. (Maxim News)
