Asteroid 2020 JJ is a member of the Eos family, the largest asteroid family of the outer main belt consisting or nearly 10,000 asteroids. It is a near-Earth object of the Apollo group. It orbits the Sun at a distance of 0.9-2.1 au once every one year and ten months (675 days; semi-major axis of 1.51 au).
