Excise Dept. Urges TS Govt To Do Justice In Offering Promotions

Hyderabad, Aug.8 (Maxim News): Some senior constables in Excise department today urged the state government to do justice in offering promotions.

They deplored that some juniors have got promotions to and they were denied the same. They submitted a memorandum to Commissioner against the promotions given to their juniors by the officials of the department.

The constables said that the promotions in the department had always been given on the basis of the age of the employees. They alleged that some union leaders in Connivance with the officials of the department gave promotions to their juniors belonging to Adilabad district by citing that they were being promoted on the basis of their merit.

They also alleged that the union leaders were threatening when cornered them about the injustice meted out to them. The senior constables belonging to the ten districts of the state gave a representation to the commissioner of the department and urged him to do justice to them. (Maxim News)
