The Intermediate first year exams from Oct 25

Hyderabad, Oct.21 (Maxim News): Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy today disclosed that Intermediate first year examinations will be conducted in all districts of the state from October 25. The Minister held a Teleconference with collectors and education officials on conducting the exams for first year students amid Corona protocols.

Later talking to press persons here with officials, the Minister the exams are commencing from October 25. The Minister said that the students of second year have to take the examinations as decided earlier.

The Minister said that as many as 4.58 lakh students will take inter exams in the centers in all districts. These centers were increased to 1750 from 1400 as per Corona protocols, she said. Study materials supplied to the students for the examinations, she added.

Sabitha stated that the students can take examinations as they are ready and prepared. We will allow the students to join the exam centre one hour before with sanitizers and masks. We have instructed the collectors and education officials to take measures to follow Corona norms and provide masks, sanitize hands and maintain social distance at the exam centers. The parents, institutions, and private colleges have to cooperate for smooth conduct of the inter- mediate examinations, she appealed.

I think the students are ready and preparing for the examinations, she said.

They Minister stated that the students can take options to write exams. All the staff on examinations duty were taken Corona injections and we have directed the officials to provide the same if anyone has not taken as per protocols.

The Minister said that as per directions of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao all measures have been taken for successful conduct of the intermediate examinations following Corona protocols.

Sabitha Indra Reddy further said that education, revenue, police and other departments were asked for effective coordination for the completion of the Intermediate examinations. (Maxim News)
