PM Modi speaks to Ukraine President Zelensky on phone
According to government sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for offering support in the evacuation of Indian nationals from the war-torn country.
In a phone call spanning 35 minute on Monday, the two leaders reviewed the growing situation in Ukraine, and Prime Minister Modi thanked President Zelensky for the assistance provided by the Ukrainian government in the evacuation of Indian nationals from Ukraine.
PM Modi has expressed optimism that the next likely peace talks between Russia and Ukraine will be productive. PM Modi is also likely to talk to Russia President Putin over the growing situation.
