KCR govt taking up developmental activities & welfare schemes relentlessly: KTR
Hyderabad, March 11 (Maxim News): Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development K T Rama Rao today said the Telangana government headed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) does not resort to divisive politics by creating rift among people on the basis of religion.
Participating in the inaugural function and foundation stone laying ceremony of various developmental works in Uppal constituency on Friday, the MA&UD Minister said the State government was simultaneously taking up developmental activities along with welfare schemes and there is a peaceful atmosphere in the capital city of Hyderabad.
K T Rama Rao said the State government was attracting a slew of investments and the revenue generated was being utilised to benefit the poor and to develop the State. He asked the companies to expand in the Eastern part of the city instead of restricting themselves to the Western Hyderabad. He said some companies have already been operating from the eastern part of the city and more establishments need to come up.
On Friday, the Minister inaugurated the Uppal Theme Park and Vaikunta Dhamam at Mallapur and also laid foundation stone for the Uppal flyover being built under Strategic Road Development Plan, a sewerage treatment plant in Nacharam and Strategic Nala Development Program works in Ramanthapur.
Pointing out that vehicular traffic has been alarmingly increasing in Uppal, KTR said the State government has been constructing fly-overs and skyways for the convenience of the citizens. He also said the government would start constructing a skywalk on international standards at an estimated cost of Rs 35 crore. KTR said the government will be giving notifications for filling 90,000 vacant posts in government departments with unemployed youth.
