KCR treating all religions equal: Talasani

Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the State government is treating all religions equal and is celebrating all festivals on the grand scale.

Ministers Srinivas Yadav and Mahmood Ali on Thursday inspected the ongoing arrangements for Iftar party to be hosted by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at LB Stadium on 29, here.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Srinivas Yadav said that the practice of celebrating all festivals belonging to different religions had started under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao and except Telangana, such kind of religious peace and harmony was nowhere in the country.

“The arrangements have been made for the issuance of passes and officials concerned have been directed to ensure that the success of the programme,” Minister Srinivas Yadav said.

The Minister also said that the State government is planning to distribute clothes to the poor muslims at different locations during the holy month of Ramadan and is also conducting Iftar parties in all Assembly segments across the Telangana.
