Picket nala bridge thrown open for public
Hyderabad, Oct.28 (NSS): The remodelling of Picket nala bridge was inaugurated by Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav in the city on Friday.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has constructed the Picket nala bridge on the SP Road at a cost of Rs. 10 crore under the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP).
The remodelling of bridge was taken up as several low lying localities in Begumpet area and its vicinity were getting inundated during the rainy season due to the bottleneck on Picket Nala. Due to the remodelling of the bridge, several areas in Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) jurisdiction will also be benefited. (NSS)
