Adah Sharma Opens Up About Playing Real-Life Characters in Gajra

“When you’re telling a story rooted in real experiences, there’s a responsibility that comes with it. The aim isn’t to shock people, it’s to help people understand what the characters are going through,” Adah told IANS.

She added that actors are merely visitors in someone else’s reality and strive to present those experiences as truthfully as possible.

“As actors, we’re visitors in someone else’s reality, so we try to make it look as real as we can for the audience. But let me tell you, real life is sometimes way more dramatic. We don’t need to exaggerate it to make it cinematic. Sometimes we need to tone it down or even conceal certain parts to make it suitable for the screen,” she said.
