Hyderabad, Mar 12 (Maxim News): The people are in fear of coming out due to dog attacks which have increased in the city, not a day goes by without news of dogs attacking children. People are being attacked in some parts of the city. So far, some people have lost their lives in dog attacks, and others are receiving treatment for serious injuries, dog attacks are happening especially to children, but GHMC Mayor G.Vijaya Laxmi claims that the adoption of street dogs in the city has been receiving a good response from the citizens.
The mayor has issued a statement today saying positive response coming forward to adopt the street dog in big numbers, the response is good across all the GHMC circles, she said.
As part of this, Joint Commissioner, Uma Prakash participated in a program and handed over street dogs to those who came forward for adoption in the Malkajgiri circle of the Secunderabad zone. The sanitation workers of the civic body also participated in the program. At a similar program held in the old city, Charminar zonal Commissioner, Samrat Ashok, Joint Commissioner A.Sailaja, and others participated. (Maxim News)
