Tirumala/ Tiruchanoor, July 23 (Maxim News): Governor-designate of Andhra Pradesh Biswa Bhushan Harichandan today offered prayers in the temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala on Tuesday afternoon along with his spouse Suprava Harichandan and other members of his family and entourage.

On his arrival at the Srivari temple after paying visit to Sri Varahaswamy temple, Harichandan was accorded warm welcome by TTD Trust Board chief YV Subba Reddy, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Special Officer AV Dharma Reddy and CVSO Gopinath Jatti.

After darshan of Lord Venkateswara, the Governor-designate was offered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam by Vedic pundits. TTD Chairman and EO presented him with the prasadams, theertham and laminated photo of Lord Venkateswara. The Governor-designate offered prayers in the temple of Sri Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor on Tuesday morning along with his family members. He was given warm reception by TTD officials at the temple at Tiruchanoor. After darshan of presiding deity Goddess Padmavathi Devi, he was offered Theertha Prasadams. (Maxim News)
