AP Govt To Set Up Regional Metro Rail Office In Visakhapatnam

The AP government will be setting up the regional office of the Andhra Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (APMRCL) in Visakhapatnam. This was announced by Municipal Administration Minister Botcha Satyanarayana in a press meet.

He stated that establishing the regional office will speed up the completion of the light metro rail and modern tram corridor projects in Visakhapatnam. The third floor of the LIC building is being readied for the office. According to officials, the office will be inaugurated by the end of October. The entire cost of both projects is estimated to be Rs 22,000 crore.
