Bandi Sanjay | Hyderabad, July 2 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a sharp attack on both the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS over the ongoing political exchanges in Telangana. He alleged that the two parties were indulging in political theatrics instead of addressing public issues.
In a post on X, the BJP leader compared the war of words between Congress and BRS leaders to the popular reality television show Bigg Boss, claiming both parties appeared to be acting according to a scripted plan.
Bandi Sanjay Challenges Congress and BRS to Public Debate
Bandi Sanjay alleged that leaders of both parties had rehearsed their statements in advance and accused them of misleading the public. He remarked that if there were an award for spreading falsehoods, leaders from both parties would be deserving candidates.
He also claimed that people in Telangana were watching the political developments with amusement and were no longer taking the exchanges seriously.
The Union Minister challenged both Congress and BRS to participate in a public debate on governance and corruption. He said the BJP state leadership was ready to decide the date, time and venue for such a discussion.
Bandi Sanjay urged the two parties to debate issues including Gurukul tender allocations, the state’s rising debt and alleged corruption during their respective tenures.
He also said the discussion should include the funds and welfare schemes provided by the Narendra Modi-led Central government for Telangana’s development.
Warning both parties against continuing what he termed “political drama,” Bandi Sanjay claimed that the people of Telangana were prepared to reject both Congress and BRS. He asserted that voters were looking towards a “double engine government” in the state.
Watching today’s Congress & BRS drama is like watching Bigg Boss TV Reality Show.
They fight in front of the cameras and protect each other when it matters. That’s their real script.
Enough of these political theatrics.
I will personally request @BJP4Telangana President Sri…
