Bandi takes potshots at TRS plenary

Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today took potshots at the plenary held by the ruling TRS party and claimed that the meeting was held only to criticise the BJP instead of informing the people about the achievements made by the State government during its last eight year long rule.

The BJP leader made these remarks while addressing a press conference at Utkoor along with other party leaders. He said plenaries were held by political parties to discuss about their organisation structure and achievements made by them and added that no discussion was held on the promises to be fulfilled by the ruling TRS party. He said the plenary had proved that the TRS party had done nothing for the development of the State. Claiming that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao ignored the first leg of his ongoing padayatra, Sanjay said the latter was now scared after seeing the response being received by his Yatra from the people. He claimed that his Yatra was receiving good response from the people of the undivided Mahbubnagar district.

Talking about the plenary, Sanjay said the plenary was held only to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and claimed that Modi became the Prime Minister when the country was facing economic problems in 2014. He also claimed that Modi was emerging as a world leader and received praises by Britain Prime Minister, US President and Israel PM were the classics example of the hard work being done by Modi.

Referring to the comments of KCR that he would now focus on serving the country, Bandi alleged that KCR had done nothing for the development of the State. He also alleged that KCR had turned the State into debt-ridden by taking loans to the tune of ₹4 lakh crore. He claimed that the TRS government was not in a position to pay salaries of its employees and pensions to its pensioners. He alleged that the State government owed ₹70,000 crore to the two power distribution companies of the State. (Maxim News)
